Drawing inspiration from the pioneering artist Anni Albers and her iconic woven textile pieces, this bag design mirrors her trailblazing approach, blurring the boundaries between craft and textile art.
Constructed from antique silk velvets, dead-stock silks, and reclaimed 1950s cotton cord, this sustainably made piece will turn heads with it's graphic lines and distinctive colour combination. Features our signature appliqué and a rich silk lining.
ALBERS is the perfect bag for day-tripping or a weekend away. It's foldable if you want to pack it in a larger case, and contains a removable solid base which helps keep the shape when wearing.
All of our products are designed and produced by a small team in Co. Donegal, on the North west coast of Ireland.
Each piece is beautifully boxed and packaged and comes with a heavy cotton dust-bag, perfect for use inside to protect your silk linings. Dust-bags are also hand-made here at the studio using dead-stock cotton.

REUSE & RECREATE: The textiles we use in our collections come from a range of sources which aim to reduce our environmental impact. We primarily use vintage and antique textiles. We also utilise salvaged and remnant fabrics from the fashion and interiors industry. As well as deadstock fabrics for lining.
As such, there may be small imperfections or blemishes in the fabric. We believe this is part of the appeal of buying a unique, handcrafted product, and we celebrate the idiosyncrasies.
CARE DETAILS: We recommend dry cleaning on all of our products. Velvet doesn't love the rain, so please take care in wet weather, water marks will dry out but your bag will keep in tip-top condition if you treat it with care.
Avoid Overloading: Do not fill your bags beyond their capacity. This can strain the seams and straps. Our velvet totes are great for clothing and overnight or everyday essentials.
