The showstopper 'TONNTA' is another of our quilted pillow tote bags, designed with the weekend adventurer in mind and for those who love to make a statement when they travel.
The word 'TONNTA' comes from the Irish for waves. The oversized tote features our signature quilting and appliqué. Quality silk off-cuts and remnants in rich black, midnight blue and baby pink have been carefully arranged to depict a stormy wild Atlantic sea scene. Common-place in the home of this design studio on the Northwest coast of Ireland.
All of our products are designed and produced by a small female team in Co. Donegal, Ireland. All items are limited edition due to the nature of the fabrics we use. TONNTA is only 1/3, ensuring you are getting a truly standout and completely unique piece.
This piece offers ample space to accommodate all your overnight necessities, yet it's versatile enough for daytime use. Inside, you'll find a spacious internal pocket equipped with compartments to help you keep your smaller items neatly organised. TONNTA is your ideal companion for both weekend getaways and daily adventures.
The padded velvet strap can be worn over the shoulder or on the arm.

- Outer shell: Heavyweight metallic jacquard from textile company Horrockes. Dating c.1950. Beautiful texture and weight.
- 100% Silk appliqué pieces (off-cuts and remnants).
- Combination of cotton twill and satin backed silk lining (dead-stock).
- Cotton velvet handles
- 100% cotton batting / wadding lining.
- Fastens with a sleek invisible zipper.
REUSE & RECREATE: The textiles we use in our collections come from a range of sources which aim to reduce our environmental impact. We primarily use vintage and antique textiles. We also utilise salvaged and remnant fabrics from the fashion and interiors industry. As well as deadstock fabrics for lining.
As such, there may be small imperfections or blemishes in the fabric. We believe this is part of the appeal of buying a unique, handcrafted product, and we celebrate the idiosyncrasies. Any significant issues will be noted on the product listing.
CARE DETAILS: We recommend dry cleaning on all of our silk products.
Avoid Overloading: Do not fill your bags beyond their capacity. This can strain the seams and straps. Our pillow totes are great for clothing and everyday or weekend away essentials.
